Dem Boys Seh…
Kaieteur News – We all gearing-up for de CPL matches next month in Guyana. But listen good, dis ain’t no walk in de park. It gan be a dance in de parking lot. Yuh know why? ‘Cause de space for all dem vehicles carryin’ die-hard fans gon’ be scarcer dan common sense at a politician’s meeting.
We bin hear ’bout de square in front of de stadium being used. But that square is not supposed to be for parking. It is a safety value for preventing a stampede when people exiting de stadium. Dat is why it so big. It deh to prevent a stampede, not for parking cars.
De parking lots was supposed to be at de northern side of de stadium. But dat parking lot shrinking faster than a snow cone in breeze. De size get rude fuh accommodate businesses and de small space dat leff is now a storage site fuh road-construction materials.
So tell we, where dem thousands of cars wah tekking fans to de ground gan park. Whe dem hundreds of hire and private-hire cars wah soliciting passnegers can park fuh mek dem hustle?
So dem boys calling de CPL bigwigs fuh come and tek a peep at this parking situation. We ain’t lookin’ fuh no fancy parkin’ palaces, just a lil’ common sense and enough space fuh hold about 2,000 cars.
De CPL gotta step up to de crease and solve dis parkin’ puzzle. Somethig’ ain’t right. So, let’s see if yuh up fuh de challenge or if dis parking pickle gon’ be yuh legacy. Dem boys seh, “de ball’s in hands now CPL!”
Talk half. Leff half
