Numerous questions about alleged rape victim now breaking silence

Reference is made to a release on social media from the alleged female Amerindian victim in the Nigel Dharamlall matter in which the girl is dissociating herself from the accusations against the minister. She refutes the allegations accusing the minister of rape.
The latest release raises several questions: Why now – more than a month after the allegations broke?
Why didn’t she come forward and address the public when the news broke and with the difficulties that the minister had to endure?
That would have brought the matter to an end! And why didn’t the minister come forward and address the public refuting the allegations? Why the need to hire a high paid celebrity lawyer (firm) to defend him and to bring about a resolution of the matter?
Why was the house where the minister was staying and where the alleged rape took place smell of fresh paint when police and child care investigators visited? Did the alleged victim meet with police and child welfare investigators, and if so, what was stated in the initial meeting (investigation) with each group?
Is there any contradiction of statements of what was complained to the police and child welfare then and the latest release? Could she not have issued a press release at the beginning when the news broke and saved the public and country of this embarrassing saga?
Was there a financial settlement relating to the allegations and if so how much? In similar allegations like this one, $60 million should be demanded as fair settlement. The young lady is encouraged to seek compensation which she can donate to combat sexual abuse of Amerindians.
