Kaieteur Sports – The East Bank FA will surely have an early case for the Disciplinary Committee as for the 2nd week of play the Friendship All Stars contingent have forfeited their fixture in the Senior Men’s League.
Yesterday, the All Stars failed to take to the field for their match against new side, Circuit Ville FC at the Timehri Red ground.
In the contested game St. Cuthbert FC made light work of Samatta Point FC in the other scheduled match to open their points account.
Two quick early goals from Tino Simon in the 6th and 8th minutes laid the foundation for the victory, while Jude Andrews netted a third in the 18th minute. For the losers, Gordon Hetymer converted a consolation in the 30th minute.
The East Bank SML will continue at the Timehri Red ground today(16th July) with another double-header. At 9 am, it will be Swan FC against Soesdyke Falcons and at 11:30 Timehri Panthers tackle Herstelling Raiders.
