Kaieteur News – A bandit threw himself in front of a motorcyclist before pouncing on him with the aid of an accomplice on Tuesday.
Police confirmed the report.
The incident reported took place at around 22:45h along Middle Road, La Penitence, Georgetown.
According to reports, to avoid hitting the suspect, the victim allegedly stopped his motorcycle. Unfortunately, without warning, the suspect’s accomplice crept up behind him and held him at gun-point.
The motorcyclist’s mobile phone and cash were stolen before he was tossed off his motorcycle.
A report has since been lodged at the Ruimveldt Police Station.
Investigations are ongoing.
