Kaieteur News – A Campbellville, Georgetown resident is presently nursing multiple gunshot wounds to his body after a gunman in a tinted silver car attempted to execute him on Thursday night.
The victim has been identified as 42-year-old, Safraz Khan and according to his relatives he is critical.
The shooting took place at Austin Street, Campbellville.
Security cameras mounted on nearby buildings captured Khan pulling up in front of a building in his car.
Moments later, a tinted silver car pulled up behind and a gunman in a yellow hoodie stepped out and opened fire on Khan while he was still sitting in his vehicle.
After firing multiple shots, the gunman’s getaway car drove off and he ran and entered the front passenger’s seat making good his escape. Up to press time, there was no police statement about the incident.
