Kitt turns in solid performance

Kaieteur Sports – The year continues to be fruitful for US-based athletic sensation, Sean Kitt, who recently turned in impressive performances at the AAU Region 1 Championship at Clifton Park, NY, in the United States of America.
Kitt competed for the Dashing Dons and Divas in the four-day event, which commenced last Thursday (June 29) and conclude on Sunday, July 2.
On the opening day, he claimed gold in the Boys 9-year old Long Jump ahead of Xoan Achigbu and Hunter Dinham.
Sean Kitt occupies the top podium position after he won the Boys 9-year old Long Jump.
He returned on Saturday well rested but finished second in the 9-year old Boys 1500m with a time of 5:29.42s. The winner, Samuel Taft, clocked 5:22.33s while the third place finisher, Cameron Leslie, gave Kitt a fight with a time of 5:29.42s.
After this event, Kitt was off to compete in another USATF meet.
