Man wanted for murder at Omai Backdam
Kaieteur News – The Guyana Police Force (GPF) on Thursday issued a wanted bulletin for a Linden resident accused of murdering a man on June 19 last at Region Eight backdam.
Wanted: David London Jnr.
Police identified the suspect as David London Jnr. known as ‘Rastaman’ of McKenzie, Linden, Region Ten. According to the wanted bulletin, London Jnr. is wanted for questioning in relation to the murder of Eon Roberts at Granny Backdam Landing, Omai.
Kaieteur News received information that London Jnr. had allegedly chopped Roberts during the late evening hours at the Backdam Landing. Roberts reportedly succumbed to his injuries sometime later. “Anyone with information leading to the apprehension of David London Jnr. is asked to call 911, 225-8196 or 226-6978. All information will be treated with the strictest confidence”, the police force stated.
