Dem Boys Seh…
Kaieteur News – Why should a man with a good job not moonlight to earn an extra dollar? What is wrong with that?
There are many doctors working in public hospital who does moonlight at private hospitals and some of dem does moonlight during dem lunch hour. But some of we finding fault with a soldier who hustling a lil taxi wuk at nights.
Why should a man have to play hide-and-seek just to earn some extra money? Once the job is not competing with his normal employment, allow the man to work.
People have needs. People have bills to pay and even though their salaries can pay the bills, the more money they make, the faster they can pay off their debts and acquire things which they need.
Deh gat people working in government office and driving duty-free car. And when dem going hom in de afternoon, dem does wuk a lil special hore in order to obtain some gas money.
Is a different story if de man working too late and he not able to wake up on time to go to his 8 to 4 job de next day. Now that is a problem that needs addressing. But what is wrong with a man hustling an extra but honest dollar.
Some of de most successful people in life are people who used to do more than one jobs. Deh gat nuff people working morning an 8 to 4 shift and then going to do an extra hustle in the afternoon. Dem nah begging nobody fuh money and dem are no burden to anyone.
So let us hail the nocturnal heroes and heroines of capitalism, the hustlers as we like to call them who prefer doing two jobs to one. They are the ones who will end up being successful while others make excuses.
Talk half. Leff half!
