Dear Editor,
Hats off to Glenn Lall for his idyllic suggestion that Guyanese should boycott the Local Government Elections and demand change to the lopsided Exxon Contract before voting on June 12. What a brilliant idea – simple and direct.
We, the people of Guyana, are tired of our leaders (both present and past) lip service and pussy-footing around Exxon. The time is now to let our leaders know “enough is enough” we will no longer tolerate their shenanigans.
My fellow Guyanese, if you care about the future of your country and the future of all Guyana’s children, now is the time put aside our differences and put a stop to those who side with our enemies. Remember: An opportunity once lost can never be regained.
Regards,
Gloria Holder
