Dear Editor,
GECOM is a tragedy and under the current management it is a national embarrassment in many ways. The fraud as it relates to backers should not have been accepted in the first place. Again GECOM seems clueless and even today no word on the matter.
There was a time in GECOM when someone worked as a party official they could not work as a GECOM staff. Why has this changed? Persons who are highly affiliated with party, or party works such as Men On Mission are now employed to work at this elections agency.
GECOM needs to do proper record keeping to avoid persons with partisan history to be working as staff for the upcoming local election. Persons who worked as party agents or canvassed should not be employed for these elections.
Regards,
A. Singh
