Whose share was purchased?
Dear Editor,
The restaurant, purchasing a stake in the security service and claiming equal ownership of fifty percent, begs the question: whose share of the company did the restaurant purchase – the investor or borrower? And, if, as it does appear, neither the investor nor the borrower have relinquished their share in the service, on what basis is the restaurant a fifty percent partner/owner of the service? Just wondering.
