Dear Editor,
It is sad to see Kaieteur News edition of BLUNT on Monday, where you highlighted the lawlessness in Buxton but did not mention a word about residents breaking the law, robbing and assaulting a truck driver, burning his truck, destroying the road and restricting the flow of traffic. Instead of choosing to speak out against the blatant hooliganism we’ve seen time and again erupting out of these enclaves, you are endorsing and encouraging it. All of the oil wealth in the world will not change the mentality of these thugs who only show themselves when there is opportunity to create mischief and mayhem.
Nothing good can come from the path you’ve chosen.
Yours truly,
Dennis Balgobin
