Elderly Moruca man found chopped to death in yard
Kaieteur News – Police in Region One are currently investigating the death of an 81-year-old man who was reportedly found dead in his yard with multiple chops wounds about his body.
Regional Commander of Region One, Himnauth Sawh would only confirm the man’s death and identified him as Stanley Williams, when contacted by this newspaper.
Information reaching Kaieteur News disclosed that the fatal incident occurred at Cabora, Moruca, Region One. Williams’ motionless body was found lying in his yard by his neighbours sometime around 07:00hrs on Wednesday. His body was later taken to the Kumaka District Hospital where he was officially pronounced dead by a doctor. Kaieteur News understands that the suspect has since been arrested. Investigations are ongoing.
