…Brazilian teen tells Cops after busted with cocaine at Lethem
Kaieteur News – A 19-year-old Brazilian national on Friday apologized to police for buying cocaine after he was caught with the illegal drug on the Takatu Bridge, Region Nine.
Eloy Junio Jackson
The teen was identified as Eloy Junio Jackson.
At about 17:30h, during a routine patrol, police conducted a search on Jackson who was seen riding across the Takatu Bridge which links Guyana and Brazil.
The cocaine found in Jackson’s pocket.
During the search, a transparent bag containing 13.7grams of cocaine was found in his pocket.
Jackson was arrested and while being cautioned about the crime, said “I just bought it (the cocaine). I am sorry”.
The teen was taken to the Lethem Police Station. He is likely to be charged on Monday.
