Kaieteur News – Everybody talking about de visa- free travel to de UK. Is about time. All dem country in de Caribbean expect Jamaica and Haiti can go to de UK without visa. So wah bin happen to we? Goat bite we?
Some people done start to mek travel plans. Dem pulling out dem piggy bank and starting to count to see if dem can mek de passage.
Some of dem nah gat a cent to dem name but dem done talking about going to see de London Bridge, Buckingham Palace and Piccadilly Square. Dem boys hear men talking about going to watch Test cricket at Lords.
Some of dem done to call dem airlines. But when dem hear de price fuh a return ticket, it is like having to qualify for a visa.. If dem can’t afford de ticket, den visa or visa-free travel, it don’t matter. Dem can’t go.
Some people vex though dat de announcement come so late. One lady talk if it did come a few weeks ago, she would have been able to guh to de Queen’s funeral and might have seen Megan.
But dem airlines happy. Is not only British Airways smiling. Caribbean Airlines did planning direct flights from next year. Now dem gan be sure to get more Guyanese going seeing dat no visa is required.
De government hit a six with de visa-free thing. But like de hosting of de CPL finals for 3 years, dem nah tell we yet what dis visa-thing cost de country. Dem boys think that de government had to give something in return for the visa-free treatment.
De Waterfall paper boss man feel he know is what and he gan talk about it tonight. One he Show
