Guyanese softball team Rockaway Legends render assistance to communities
Kaieteur News – Prominent Guyanese softball team Rockaway Legends continues to give back to communities across Guyana through its charitable works.
CEO of Rockaway Group of Companies, Hafeez Ali distributing boxes of food to members of the community
Recently, owner of the team and CEO of Rockaway Group of Companies, Hafeez Ali provided over 300 boxes of nutritious meals to residents in the Ann’s Grove, Lusignan, Annandale and Chateau Margot villages. Toys were also distributed to the children. Ali was assisted by some members of the team. Ali said he is happy to once again engage in such a venture which he undertakes on a regular basis.
Ali who also plays for Everest Cricket Club Masters encouraged the youths to take sports as well as education seriously. Recently he presented a quantity of cricket equipment to Wakenaam and football uniforms to the Guyana Police Force.
