Man gets two years for stealing entertainment set
Kaieteur News – A 24-year-old man on Tuesday was jailed for two years for stealing an Xbox (video game), a bluetooth music set and $20,000 cash from the Linden, Region Ten home of Quinessa Kitt.

He was identified as Romano Hamblin, 24, of Mackenzie Linden and appeared before Magistrate Wanda Fortune at the Linden Magistrate’s Court. Hamblin pleaded guilty to breaking into Kitt’s home earlier this month and stealing the items. As a result, he was sentenced to two years in jail. According to Commander of the Region 10 district Hugh Winter, during Hamblin’s arrest, his ranks were able to recover the Xbox and the music set but not the cash.
