Amidst the planning, promotion and staging of an event on the scale of Guyana Cup, security is paramount. To execute a seamless horseracing event without security breaches is increasingly challenging, so therefore, a solid partnership was forged between the Guyana Police Force and a recognized security firm, A & R Security Services, for Guyana Cup 2022 on Sunday, August 14th.
Guyana Cup 2022 is building momentum and attracting a growing crowd. Over 30 new thoroughbred horses have been imported and the announcement of the most sought-after dancehall artiste in the world presently, Skillibeng, has caught the attention of thousands looking forward to the event. Social media has definitely propelled the promotion campaign that is expected to make this event the largest thus far for 2022 and in the history of Guyana Cup.
A & R Security Services stands firm and ready to take all the necessary measures to combat all the security glitches with a work force of over 170 security officers. With an exceptional track record thus far, A & R security Services can boast of a committed team that is continuously trained to ensure the safety of their patrons.
Their team consists of ex-military and police who are highly confident that the training and knowledge they gained over the years can now be taught to the A & R Security Officers. The main services that will be contracted for this mega event carded for Sunday 14th August are security to overlook the entire event preventing mishaps, for all the artiste, escort for the entire “Road show campaign” and more.
When contacted the Chief Of Security for A & R Security Services indicated, “Whether it’s at a crowded venue or a corporate meeting the security always requires a rare breed of event security guards who can bring the blend of experience, judgement, sensitivity, efficiency, and professionalism that you expect and you patrons deserve. For too long we have seen poorly trained or inefficient guards at other events causing immeasurable damage through critical oversight that in the back end give the event and promoter the wrong stigma. Our team is excited to work along with the Jumbo Jet Racing Committee and the Guyana Police Force for Guyana Cup. We have some new methods and techniques that we will be launching to detect items hidden on a person and to ensure the perimeter is locked down tight.”
