Increase in garbage collection
Dear Editor,
I am kindly asking you to please raise this matter of importance for us poor pensioners of West Coast Demerara to the relevant authority. Puran Brothers is taking advantage of us poor pensioners by increasing garbage collection fee from five hundred dollars to six hundred dollars per week as of this week without any reason given. We are paying rates and taxes and paying twenty four thousand dollars per year for garbage collection. Now we have to pay six hundred dollars per week. Please do something for us poor pensioners.
