Kaieteur News – Fitness Express has signed on as one of the sponsors for the Arrowhead League that will commence on April 30 at the National Track and Field Centre, Leonora.
At the simple presentation ceremony, proprietor of the fitness store Jamie McDonald noted that “This league in the next few years will help to develop athletics and when I saw it in the papers I thought this would be good to be a part of, this is what the athletes need,” McDonald shared.
Organiser of the event, Treiston Joseph highlighted that, “With companies like Fitness Express onboard, the overarching goal of moving the sport forward is easier to achieve,” Joseph stated while thanking Fitness Express.
Meanwhile, President of the Athletics Association of Guyana, Aubrey Hutson was also on hand to thank Fitness Express and shared that, “This league will help to give the athletes consistent competition and that is important,” Hutson mentioned.
The first meet of the league will be on April 30 from 17:00hrs.
