Kaieteur News – As part of its 10th Anniversary celebrations Suriname-based Assuria Insurance honoured its first ten policyholders that joined the company in 2012.
The policyholders were awarded at a ceremony held at the company’s Church Street Head Office. Managing Director and General Manager, Yogindra Arjune, said that Assuria values its customers and as such decided to host the ceremony to honour the first 10 who signed up.
He said that Assuria opened its doors in Georgetown on April 1, 2012 offering insurance products with value pricing. Insurance packages are offered in Motor, Fire, Life, Health, Travel, Group, Marine, Liabilities, Bonds and Pension tailored for all stakeholders. Arjune also said that the Anna Regina branch office is the tenth and newest office of the company. He thanked the policyholders for their continued loyalty to the company and for remaining throughout the years.
“When we started, many people had never heard of us before. We knew we had a huge challenge before us. But you put your trust in us and 10 years later we are still here together. We have created a very fruitful and lasting relationship. Thank you for giving us the chance to serve you and we look forward to continuing offering our great services and support to you, we will soon open our new Head Office to better serve you” Arjune said.
During the ceremony novelties, snacks and a gift certificate worth $20,000 to dine at the Marriott hotel were given to each customer. The ten loyal customers honoured were: Abiena Abrigo, Celkernz Sandy, Latoya Burrowes, George and Grace Smartt, Ron and Metrine Daniels, Nikeitha Alleyne, Ramphal and Fazela Persaud, David Noel, Pauline Standford and Simone Giles.
