Dear Editor
I have noted the Private Sector Commission (PSC) nominee on the National Resource Fund board is Mr. Ramesh Dookhoo.
I am of the firm view that as far as the PPP is concerned, this country is made up of about 100 or 200 persons – not 700,000 – 100 or 200 persons that belong to a group of individuals we can call friends, family, and cronies of the government.
Mr. Dookhoo fortunately or unfortunately falls into that 100 or 200 persons. All appointments, all positions, all commissions everything is within that 100 or 200 persons, their families, their friends and their cronies. The remainder of the population of this country does not count for anything. The job of the remainder of the population is to work and pay taxes so that this elite group can continue to enjoy themselves.
Regards
Ganga Ramdar
