Kaieteur News – The Guyana National Rifle Association (GNRA) successfully hosted the Murals Logistics Agency Inc. HandGun Precision Competition on Saturday March 5th, at the Tactical Services Unit (TSU) Ranges in Eve Leary.
The event featured a junior and senior category with all of the matches having a maximum of 250 points.
Gordon Richards reigned supreme in the Senior Division as he won both the .22 Precision and 9mm Precision competitions.
Richard ended with 236 points that included 5 bulls while Harold Hopkinson was second with 231 points (6 bulls) and Surujbali Persaud came in third with 225 points (6 bulls).
In the 9mm competition, Richard carted 230 points with 4 bulls while Joshua Ramlakhan claimed the second place spot with 222 points (4 bulls) and Roberto Tewari was third with 214 points (2 bulls).
For the Juniors’ .22 Precision competition, Satya Dayaram finished on top with 225 pts (5 bulls), Royland Fraser was second with 188 pts (2 bulls) while Kesley Andrews crossed the line third with 183 points (3 bulls).
In the Juniors’ 9mm Precision match, Michael Gupta won with 165 pts (1 bull), Yonelle De Abreu was second with 157 points (1 bull) while Fraser ended in third with 155 points (2 bulls).
