Kaieteur News – Narayan Ramdhani and his sibling Priyanna Ramdhani were both recognized and rewarded for their performances as they copped the Alberta Colleges’ Athletics Conference (ACAC) Men’s and Women’s Badminton All Conference Awards.
This was announced in the past week ahead of the ACAC 2022 Badminton Championships (Provincials) which unfolds at Olds College on March 5 and 6. Narayan also became the ACAC Male Player-of-the-Year.
They are both on scholarship at the King’s University (Narayan) and Olds College (Priyanna) and are scheduled to represent their respective school at this Championship. On the opening day of the event, the Team Semi-finals and Finals were up to be contested.
On March 6, the day commences with the Men & Women’s Singles followed by the Men & Women’s Doubles and Mixed Doubles.
This tournament also serves as the qualifiers for Nationals to represent Alberta Colleges at the Canadian Collegiate Athletic Association (Nationals) which is also scheduled to be played during this month.
