Dear Editor,
Mr. Kissoon questions my history of public comment. May I respectfully direct him to the Kaieteur News “letters columns” where he will find, among others, the following letters about the electoral impasse: No. Not in My Name (7th March 2020), Change cannot be brokered when an electoral process has been subverted (12th March 2020), We cannot build a future without trust (1st May 2020).
Reference the policies of the previous administration including the retrenchment of the sugar workers: A golden opportunity has been squandered (22nd March 2018) and Are we all asleep at the wheel (8th January 2018).
I stand by my record.
Yours faithfully,
Isabelle de Caires
