Briton John wins senior clash; Alex Leung tops junior field; Clevecia Spencer takes female race
Kaieteur News – The Fourth edition of the LonLam Classic Circuit Cycle Race held in the Bauxite Mining Town of Linden on Sunday last was a resounding success with the nation’s best athletes invading the Town, many walking away with attractive prizes.

Held under the theme, “Investing in Passion, Riding with Integrity”, the Linden Bauxite Flyers Cycle Club (LBFCC) organised event saw over $400,000 dollars in cash, trophies and other incentives awarded to the respective category winners and other top performers.
There were seven (7) events contested on the day from BMX to racing cycles and according to the organisers, all and sundry enjoyed the day’s activities which saw races pedaling off from KD&J Supermarket in Amelia’s Ward.
Sponsors of the activity were Banks DIH Ltd, Guyana Breweries Inc., KD&J Supermarket, Cevon’s Waste Management, Brazo’s Workshop, Ministry of Natural Resources and Region 10 Tourism Committee.
