Man chopped to head in Port Kaituma
Kaieteur News – Nigel Frank, age 18, of Five Miles Port Kaituma, North West, was on Friday night chopped to his head after a heated argument ensued between him and the suspect.
Based on information received, the incident occurred at approximately 22:05 hrs at a shop located at Five Miles, Port Kaituma where the victim and the suspect were consuming alcohol after which, they got into a heated argument. It is alleged that the suspect left, returned with a cutlass, and chopped the victim to the right side of his head and then escaped.
The victim was escorted to the Port Kaituma District Hospital, where he was treated and later discharged.
The suspect has not been arrested as yet but investigations are still ongoing.
