Kaieteur News – The Lusignan Golf Club will be hosting the Hallmark Open medal play best stroke tournament tomorrow with tee off time set for 12:30hrs. The tournament was launched yesterday at the Hallmark Store on Quamina Street, where the entity handed over the sponsorship cheque to members of the LGC.
LGC Secretary Chet Bowling thanked the sponsors for their support and noted that all covid-19 guidelines will be followed. He said that it’s heartening to see companies demonstrating good corporate social responsibilities and this shows that the LGC management is achieving their goal of having tournaments played on a regular basis.
Procurement Officer of C & L Construction Inc. Lorenzo Gouveia said the companies are pleased to be associated with LGC as they fulfill their corporate social responsibilities through sport.
Prizes will be given out to the top three golfers, best front nine; best back nine, nearest to the pin and longest drive.
