Kaieteur News – Sparta Turf at Mandela Avenue will come alive tomorrow when the 18-team dominoes competition organised by Richard Mittelholzer commences from 15:00hrs.
Entrance fee is $15,000 and the winning team will take home $150,000, runner up $75,000 and third place $35,000. The competition is being organsied as part of Mittelholzer 50th birth anniversary and is being sponsored by Grill Kings, YK Investments, Becks Lumber Yard, Fireside Grill and Chill and Hanson General Store of 116 Regent Road Bourda.
Among the teams set to participate are Big Boss, Gold is Money, Mix Up, Providence, All Season’s Racing Service, All Season’s Girls, West Side, Wild Bunch, Spartans, Phantom and F and H.
The competition will conclude on March 10 and teams can contact Mettelholzer on 609-1590 for registration. Teams are asked to register by 14:30hrs tomorrow.
