Speckled sun shone through the trees with dreary shadows.
Sirens wailing in the distance.
Busy streets and cacophonous sounds all around.
Gasoline and burnt cigars fills the air.
Tyres screeches as a flying car flown through the traffic,
almost shattering a senior pedestrian’s life.
Deaths lurking about.
In the queue of traffic, there’s so much I cannot comprehend.
Hot coffee and fresh breakfast on the go,
only to be thrown out the window below.
Adding to horrendous garbage in the drains,
leaving bins empty, you’d think they don’t have a brain.
Scorching pavements as dry as bone.
A man with rugged beard and torn clothes.
He sits begging for a penny for a meal he might never see.
The road with oh so many holes,
makes me feel like I’m rapidly moving in a rattling raft in the sea.
A galloping horse gasps for breath.
His master tries to make him run as fast as the wind,
with a crop, that chops the top of his skin.
Tiny carcasses on each corner,
crushed by ferocious beasts that hearts are filled with torture.
The world weeps in sorrow.
There’s no humanity left in humans
with all this brutality that is foreseen in tomorrow.
