Narcotic dogs help unearth ganja, illegal items at NA prison

Kaieteur News – Police narcotic dogs, on Wednesday helped joint services ranks unearth 30 grams of marijuana and other illegal items during a search at the New Amsterdam Prison.
According to a press release sent out by the Guyana Prison Service (GPS), the search began around 06:20 hrs. and ended at 09:08 hrs.
GPS stated that narcotics dogs from the Guyana Police Force (GPF) were deployed and a number of prohibited articles were found.
Unearthed were four Ziploc bags containing 30 grams of cannabis, a quantity of wires, lighters, improvised weapons, razor blades, mirror, cellphones along with batteries, a nail clip and one pair of scissors.
