Kaieteur News – The body of a man was discovered yesterday lying under his house at Barclay Street, Goed Fortuin, West Bank Demerara (WBD).
Police has since identified the remains to be that of Gopaul Bissoon called ‘Dona’, 49.
Ranks had received a call around 13:20hrs that he was lying motionless under his house for a while.
They headed down to the location and found that the man was unresponsive. Crime scene experts scanned his body for marks of violence but found none.
Based on inquiries they made, the detectives learnt that man lived with his brother and had a drinking problem. They were also told that he suffered from epilepsy as well.
Police removed the body and took it West Demerara Regional Hospital where it was further examined before being sent to the morgue.
