The best names currently in the business to collide pending clearance after covid-19 tests
Tuesday evening at the Guyana National Stadium Providence, the first sport to fill this facility to capacity will make a grand return when the Guyana Football Federation (GFF), Ministry of Culture Youth and Sport (MCYS) and the entity that was responsible for the sold out facility, Kashif and Shanghai (K&S) brings off the first of two nights of football being called, ‘Bounceback’.
These two nights of action which will feature star studded line-ups from East Coast, Linden, West Demerara and the City would be played under circumstances like no other following the ravaging and rippling effects of the worldwide, covid-19 pandemic.
The principals involved in bring off this event have all expressed delight that they can collaborate for the common good of the game as they look forward to shaping a great 2021 which is anticipated to be a very hectic year for the sport.
All the players involved in this mini-competition will be subjected to mandatory covid-19 tests and would only be eligible to play once they are tested negative. Tests have been ongoing and are expected to be concluded today based on information garnered from the organisers.
The winning teams from Tuesday night’s battles will clash in the final on New Year’s night. Fans would be able to follow all the action live on January 1st (next Friday) via NCN Ch. 11, Enetworks and the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sport Facebook page.
