ECCC shortlists 18 for Inter Association U19 tourney
Kaieteur News – The East Coast Cricket Committee has shortlisted 18 players for possible selection on the East Coast team for upcoming Inter Association U19 competition in Demerara.
The ECCC held trials and practice sessions for the past week which was attended by 46 players from affiliated clubs at Lusignan.
The group was then reduced to 18 from which the final squad will be named.
Those shortlisted are; Alexander Persaud, Trevon Charles, Chetram Balgobin, Andrew Samaroo, Edmond Pearson, Devanand Khemraj, Anthony Khan, Lakeram Ramkissoon, Chanderpaul Ramraj, Ajay Gainda, Rudranauth Kissoon, Romel Datterdeen, Jagdesh Dowlatram, Michael Pooran, Omar Lallbachan, Mulicke Willls, Mookchan Singh and Bhaskar Shamlall.
Sessions were conducted by coaches Jitlall Jowharilall and Kumar Bishundial, while President of the ECCC Ashmul Ali visited the venue.
