Dr. Tulsi Dyal Singh
God tek Adam to de garden
And tell ee to keep it clean and green.
But since ee believe in trust but verify
He planted plenty apples underneath.
A camoudi by de name of Exaconda
Find eight billion bushels of apples
Plump and ripe for easy pickings.
Adam noticed that everywhere he went
Exaconda leaving waste and residue.
Adam tell Exaconda dat he want to see
A plan to eliminate and prevent de mess.
Exaconda seh dat ee done agree to give
Adam boss two apples out of every hundred
Plus half of every apple dat ee nah eat:
Hell or high water, ee naah negotiate.
Adam boss nah like feh see Exaconda vex
Ee done mek plans feh share out applesauce.
He ask Adam why ee giving Exaconda bassa-bassa
Adam seh dat he is only following de law.
Exaconda observe dis opportunity
Suh ee wrap ee tail around an apple tree
And mek ee self into a wide lasso.
In one deft swoop, he snaggled both of dem.
And none of dem dih even know.
And when Exaconda done
God sat down and cried,
What else do I have to do?
In dis garden, every thing spoil.

(Kaieteur News) – Those visits by Pres. Ali into places of worship may be paying off. He sees the light. He may insist that he sees god (meaning himself); I settle for light. Light is late in coming.
