65 traffic lights solar panel stolen in city

Cummings & South Road
Regent & Cummings Street
As if the congestion is not enough, the people of Guyana on Thursday woke up to news that the Ministry of Public Works has recorded 65 traffic lights solar panels missing.
The traffic lights are located at key areas in the city.
Twelve were from Regent and Cummings and seven from Croal and Cummings Streets.
“The Ministry is once again pleading with public spirited citizens to report any suspicious acts and or theft of traffic lights components to the nearest police station or the Ministry of Public Works Public Relations Department via telephone on 592-227-0799 or Facebook at Ministry of Public Works or via email at mopiguyana@gmail.com.”
