DEAR EDITOR,
Off my head I can list ten things I love about Guyana. Our diverse cultures, our music, our natural resources, the food, festivals, landmarks, our gardens, the resorts and eco-tourist sights and of course the people. What’s not to love? Anyone who has visited Guyana will tell you it is indeed extraordinary. One thing any person in a Country like this should do is travel around it at least once a year. Travelling around your own, seeing what the visitors and tourists see, experiencing a whole new feeling than what is normal, “visit Guyana” does not only apply to the tourists, but it also applies to the citizens. There is more beyond the city of Georgetown and I firmly believe that in this day and age we should be able to explore our country.
I pray that in this new season of blessing, Guyanese stand strong and firm. We are a blessed nation and this year 2020? It is WE OWN.
HAPPY 50TH REPUBLIC ANNIVERSARY GUYANA!
