The country is now on the political carousel; bells are ringing, horses with riders going up and down. The bells are so loud that none can hear what the political actors say as they seek to arrive at positions of power. Everyone has seen promises get lost between Election Day and presence in parliament.
Guyana will not move from its disappointing past if its people continue to employ the standard predictable developmental malaise as their track record ably demonstrates.
The most consistent voice, over the years, pointing to the inert weakness of the country is the outstanding and honourable Ramon Gaskin, Esq. No one can put any argument against anything he espouses. If Guyanese sincerely want progress for themselves, their choice is simple.
I saw where he suggests his party’s name as: GUYANA FIRST, may I offer to include INTEREST, so we have Guyana Interest First?
All hail! Ramon Gaskin for President!
