The Police in some countries seem to forget, that the roads are public and at all times, there are being used by the public.
In the case of an emergency, it is expected for the Police, Fire Service and Ambulance
to approach at a fast rate, expecting the public to give way, but at the same time, the said
Police and other emergency vehicles, should make sure the public is safe and clear of their
approach.
Viewing the footage of the accident that occurred on the Friendship, East Bank, public road
on the 15/10/2019. It was very sad to see precious lives snuffed away unnecessarily.
I do hope this will be a lesson to other police officers and other emergency vehicle drivers that the roads are public and not government roads.
So it would be wise to remember that the Public Lives, Matters.
Respectfully
JC. Grant-Stuart. Snr.
