The third edition of the annual Georgetown Softball Cricket League (GSCL) Inc. / Prime Minister’s T20 Cup is drawing closer and teams are asked to finalise their participation for the November 1-3 showpiece by tomorrow (Friday), the deadline for registration.
There is no registration fee for teams in any of the three categories; Legends Over-50, Masters Over-45 and All-Stars, but teams must confirm their squads and pay a deposit of G$60,000 as collateral for their participation.
This fee will be refunded on the second day of the tournament. The draw is set to take place this Sunday at GNIC Sports Club at 14:00hrs. Teams are asked to contact the organisers, Georgetown Softball Cricket League Inc. for more information and to uplift the playing conditions and other critical information upon paying the security deposit.
Teams from Canada, USA and Guyana will compete for more than $2,000,000 in cash and other prizes. Preliminary and semi-final matches will be played at various venues in Georgetown while the finals of all three categories will be played at Everest Cricket Club on Sunday November, 3.
