Who died and made you people God? What gives you the right to dictate to a constitutionally elected President of our country as to what he must and should do? If my memory serves me correctly that chain was tossed on May 26, 1966. I was so angry, dismayed and confused by this display of your temerity and disrespect that I had to remind myself about the function(s) of an Ambassador when appointed to a foreign country. To my great surprise, I discovered that his or her duties include Treaty Negotiations, Immigration Discussions, Foreign Aid Projects and Humanitarian Programmes. In addition, they supervise and lead all foreign services employees in the country, which they are assigned to; they also aid citizens of their country travelling in that foreign country. The point here is, those Ambassadors are not in those countries to demand or direct a duly elected President to follow their demands or directives. In Guyanese parlance, this level of disrespect is termed “R–s Pass” not “Eye Pass”.
Allow me Editor to address these Ambassadors individually.
While pointing out the speck in the Guyanese eye and ignoring the boulder in their own. It’s no secret with the immediacy of the information available in the 21 century world, the goings on in all and every country in our world is at our fingertips. As a result, the social chaos that defines America is on blast. The all knowing Caucasian is witnessing their country imploding under the so-called leadership of a brainless, incompetent, loud mouth masquerading as President, Donald Trump. One who violates the law at every opportunity, he is presently embroiled in a ‘ whistle blower scandal ‘in which the Director of National Intelligence is defying Congressional request to turn over information on Trump’s contact with a foreign leader. Not new, as he has on numerous occasions instructed his insiders to defy legal requests from Congress for information. Mostly young White Americans are gunning down citizens or planning to, after being arrested with more arms than the army at an alarming rate, one would think the US Ambassador would focus on advising her government on fixing these pressing issues plaguing America rather than directing Guyana’s President as to what he should do. Fix the boulder in your eye and LEAVE US ALONE with our speck!
Now for our erstwhile Masters the British. On June 26, 2016, 52% of Britons voted to withdraw from the European Union. As of September 2019, the resigning of a Prime Minister as a result of this vote, still no resolution and from the look of things your country is no closer to one, and in fact will not be come October 31, 2019. And it may very well costs the present PM his job. You or your allies in Brussels are no closer to a solution than your Prince is no closer to telling the truth about consorting with underage girls at his late buddy’s private Island in the Caribbean, New York and in Britain no less. Leave us alone, please! Clean up your own house before meddling in ours. The US, Britain and Brussels have your own internal issues to attend to, do so. Everyone knows why Jadgeo wants to be the power behind his hand-picked President, one word, OIL. A look at HIS party in power after 23 years and particularly during his tenure as President is enough to put the fear of God in all Guyanese. Let me remind you
Mr. Power Drunk of this eternal Guyanese proverb, “Moon a run till day ketch am”.
