Linden fire victims receive help
The Ministry of Social Protection yesterday said it is continuing to support citizens during difficult circumstances.
Earlier in the month, the Ministry provided relief to Nigel and Simone Anthony and their eight children, to begin rebuilding their lives, after they lost their home and everything in it from a fire.
The Ministry’s Technical Officer Sonia Philander handed over basic household items to the families on behalf of Minister Amna Ally.
The family which previously resided at Wismar Linden, received a kerosene stove, mattresses, kitchen utensils, dry goods and a voucher which affords them additional food items.
