The National Procurement and Tender Administration Board (NPTAB) received nine bids, in the hundreds of millions of dollars, for the construction of a new road to make the Departure Terminal at Cheddi Jagan International Airport (CJIA) at Timehri more accessible.
The project is being spearheaded by the Ministry of Public Infrastructure, which has also accepted proposals for roads to be constructed throughout Guyana.
Bids for those road projects will feature in tomorrow’s Edition.
Other major projects at yesterday’s NPTAB opening include GPL’s Fibre Optic Cable work at New Amsterdam and Linden, and new vehicles for the Guyana Prison Service.
