A few days ago I saw a letter where a gentleman took issue with Peeping Tom’s “gloating tone over the inability of our GDF to respond to Venezuela’s aggression towards us”.
I am actually surprised that people pay any attention at all to the nonsense that comes from this columnist. Over the years I’ve seen Mr. Alexander, among others, having cause to correct him / her.
Before the official results for Trinidad & Tobago’s last general elections were announced, Mrs. Kamla Persaud Bissessar declared that the UNC , although they lost the elections, won the popular vote. Peeping Tom, instead of waiting on the official results, repeated this in his /her column. Lo and behold when the official results came out it was the PNM that won the popular vote. The Peeper didn’t bother to apologize for his / her lapse.
From that moment I stopped reading the column.
Yours Faithfully,
Trevor Charles
