Host Georgetown Cricket Club U17 defeated a Georgetown Cricket Association select U17 team in a 50-over fixture played yesterday.
The game was organised to facilitate the presentation ceremony of the GCA Friends of Cricket U17 tournament which was won by GCC.
Batting first, GCA Select U17 were bowled out for 92 with Jeffrey Blair scoring 27, I. Nanan 15, Marlon Sole 11 and O. Giddings 10.
Zachary Jodah claimed 3-25, Yohance Angoy 2-9 and S. Basdeo 2-23.
GCC responded with 93-2 in 23 overs. Mavindra Dindyal stuck five fours in scoring 47 not out, while R. Phillips made 10.
