Dear Editor,
I do like the APNU-AFC, but I hate the way they treated the small man. Simple things like removing the barriers, during parliament days, they could not adjust. The market vendors were trampled upon.
Those may look like nothing, in the eyes of the government, but it is very important to the everyday man. I had experiences in Georgetown on many parliament days. It was and still is, very confusing to locate transportation and destination. In cases of emergencies, no one can easily get in or out.
One may say, why not choose another day to do one’s business in the city. But should the clock stop, because there is Parliament going on?
APNU-AFC, stop ignoring the persons that mean you and the government well, eg. Mr. Frederick Kissoon, Dr. David Hinds, and others. Lend them your ears, accept your mistakes and move on. Mr. President, I wish you and the Government the very best.
Guyanese will be expressing themselves by voting this year, showing their real feelings, towards the party, they believe, they can trust.
To my fellow Guyanese, the lyrics of the song go like this, “Express yourself, whatever you do, aah, do it good, Express Yourself.”
