The No Confidence Motion was passed , for guidance the constitution remains and the President and Ministers must continue to carry out their function as guided by this document that the then President Janet Jagan tossed over her shoulder when called upon to act within the confines of this sacred document.
The PPP has been in the seat of Government for 23 years, what did they do? Every conceivable board was comprised of supporters of the PPP. It was during those years that the PPP Government could not find qualified Afro – Guyanese to serve as ambassadors of foreign missions.
What blatant disregard for a people who were here almost four hundred years, excavating conservancies and canals, building roads, railways and housing facilities .
African Guyanese have been the recipient of the PPP corruption, victimization and racial discrimination, political violence and marginalization.
The PPP must not be allowed to return to office. We witnessed the systemic destruction of our social, economic and cultural fabric carried out by the PPP administration during their years in office.
As the PPP and Jagdeo are calling for free and fair elections. We must go forward with a clean slate, and therefore must do house to house registration. What is wrong about that?
The fact that the PPP is rejecting house to house registration, tells me all is not well with that voters list. They do not want the voters list to be sanitized because as they claim it would disenfranchise those persons who would have traveled to work and live abroad. What nonsense! Without the house to house registration, many more would be disenfranchised.
Why de rush Mr. Jagdeo?
Cool down yuh pace. We need continued peace. Stop lying to your supporters and the nation, what have you done for the youths nationwide during your time in office?
What happened to the IDB grant in 2004 to build a multipurpose Centre to train young people in communities of Bachelors Adventure, Paradise and Melanie Damishana . To date we await that youth friendly space for that bulging youth population in those communities
