The people must decide if 33 is greater than 32. As a people, we all know how many times 33 was greater than 32 with this government, yet they seem to think that they can actually fool Guyanese into thinking that by some magic, 33 is no longer greater than 32.
This Coalition Government must really have no respect for the Guyanese people.
The people must speak and this Coalition Government and everybody else must know what they say. For this to happen, the country needs to see leadership from some credible organizations/corporations, which can conduct surveys of the people to find out what they think.
I am therefore calling on companies such as Digicel, GT&T, Kaieteur News and Stabroek News to conduct these surveys.
Digicel and GT&T can easily promote and conduct this survey and can publish the results very quickly.
However, Kaieteur and Stabroek can do the same thing slower. It will serve to confirm the other two surveys. (Please not NACTA).
Anyone else out there who thinks that they can reach large numbers of Guyanese and find out what they think should also make the effort. This would be patriotic.
Every Guyanese should try to find ways to make their position known to the politicians of this country.
This is the only time when neither political group is in power. The Coalition has lost the No Confidence Vote and must resign. They should know that they do not have a choice. To hold on to power by foul means will speak more of their character and their lack of patriotism. Who will ever vote for these people again?
The PPP is not yet in power. With the rise of additional political parties that will be returning power to the people by allowing them to choose their own representatives, it is unlikely the PPP will ever get power again.
It is time for people power.
Use any means possible. Rise up; speak up; let your voices be heard.
