A body has surfaced following Friday’s boat accident in the Puruni River, Region Seven.
The boat accident occurred in the Puruni River around midday on December 28, 2018.
It involved two boats- one was powered by a 40Hp outboard engine and the other by a 15Hp one.
A male Amerindian went missing after the accident.
His body was eventually discovered Sunday near the Puruni River pontoon crossing.
The accident occurred above the crossing, nearer to the Ramesh old Camp Ground area.
Police from Bartica were said to be in the area conducting investigations.
