An employer yesterday refused to spoil her worker’s Christmas joy by withdrawing allegations that led to the employee being charged.
Charged was Nazra Ramson for allegedly stealing clothing, among other things from her boss.
The charge against Ramson was read by Chief Magistrate Ann Mc Lennan. It alleged that during August 2018 she stole from the dwelling place of Rafia Kadera Hack a quantity of clothing, bed sheets, bedspreads and blinds all to the value of $535,000.
Ramson who at the time of the incident was an employee of Rafia Kadera Hack pleaded not guilty to the charge.
However, in the absence of Hack, the prosecution told the Magistrate that she went back to the station and said that she wished not to continue the case.
As a result, the case was withdrawn and Ramson walked free.
